FOLLOW OHIO MEN' S BASKETBALL: ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio men's basketball team's 2018 Mid-American Conference schedule has been released, as announced by the Mid-American Conference on Thursday (Sept. Ohio was tabbed to finish fourth in the MAC East Division. WHO TO KNOW Jason Carter is back in action for the Bobcats after playing just three games during the 2017-18 campaign due to injury. The redshirt sophomore is the team's leading scorer with 18.7 points per game and is second in rebounds with 7.3 boards per contest. The forward has made 40 of his 78 attempts from the field. Teyvion Kirk is the second-leading scorer for the Bobcats averaging 16.2 points per contest in his team's first six games this season. Kirk also leads the team in assists with 19 helpers.

Freshman Ben Vander Plas scores 11.5 points off the bench for Ohio. The freshman leads the Bobcats from three-point range hitting 37.1 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.
